Electromagnetic Braking Systems For Space Vehicles

For usage on stars and planets surfaces, land type vehicle sometimes are more preferred than hover type vehicles. These vehicle should utilize a braking system that is electromagnetic. Electromagnetic braking systems are simply braking systems that utilize non contact, non sparking, non friction electromagnets to slow or stop the vehicle. The electromagnets are variably powered to slow down the vehicle slowly. The electromagnets are actuated by a hand system or foot pedal. When actuated, the brakes are attracted magnetically within an electromagnetic field until the vehicle is stopped; and the brake released. This braking system is extremely accurate, non abrading, non eroding, and non sparking.
